About Us!

In 1 Samuel chapter 17, David went off to fight Goliath, armed with only a staff in hand, five smooth stones from the stream, and put them in the pouch of his shepherd's bag, with his sling in his hand. With one little stone, it struck Goliath right into his forehead. Today, Jesus still uses the weak to shame the strong and proud. Our challenge is to have David's faith and walk into life's battles not armed with weapons of the world, but with spiritual weapons of faith, hope and prayer. We are just glad to be Lil' Stones for Jesus - aiming to be potent in all that He has planned for us to do! All for His glory and renown!

Why do we have to suffer? - Conclusion

I conclude with sharing 1 Peter 5:6-10:

“Humble yourselves, therefore under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert.  Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.  And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
